PC Decrapifier Features

decraplogo PC Decrapifier Clean Up that Brand New Computer of yours [Freeware]Okay, so you’ve just bought yourself a brand new computer. You’ve unpacked and installed it. At first boot (if the computer is a shelf-item) the Computer will self-install itself with the included OS. “This is Great” you think, Now I’ve got a clean computer, ready to use. But wait what is this? Why is the hard drive full ? and Why isn’t there any room to show webpages in my internet explorer ? Where did all these toolbars come from ?

Most Shelf-Ready Computers you buy today are packed with “extras” and trial-ware that you might not want – or care to use. Some of the “bonus” programs (the so-called full version programs) are outdated versions. PROS: Quick installation and great features added with ease. One of the best features for me is the option to continue where you left off in a song when you close and re open WMP12.

CONS: No cons really. It would be nice to see more features that could bump this up to a five-star program. If you can think of any features, let us know in the comments so we can pass them on to the developers.

VERDICT: If you insist on using WMP12 (and, to be fair, it’s worthy of use), then this may make your experience even better.

VERSION REVIEWED: 1.1

Being a multi-computer household, we have chosen one computer to be the dedicated multi-media computer. This is where we store all our music, videos, images etc. On occasion you want to access some of this media, sitting at another computer.  If you are at home, using  Homegroup in Windows 7 is the ultimate solution (see this article by Rich).

But, What if, you are not at home?

CONS: The trial only lasts 15 days. I like to evaluate software for at least 30 days before committing to paying for it.

VERDICT: If you want something that is more granular than CCleaner or similar products and you don’t mind forking out for great software, go for this.
