myBoard is an open source project developed by Yann ALET Chief Executive Officer of Adysoft.Inc, a company specialized on Microsoft technologies and focusing on constantly improving user experience with technologies like WPF and Silverlight.

I’ve been watching & testing myBoard for the past year or so and i think it’s ready to now be announced here on mintywhite!  Take a look of it in action on YouTube here.

myBoard does for Windows what Dashboard does for OS X.  It’s a beautiful widget overlay screen complete with native widgets such as radio, twitter client and resource usages but to name a few, and groovy drag and drop effects!  The real deal winner here, is that you can plug thousands of HTML based widgets from providers like Miniclip, Google gadget, or Netvibes, right into myBoard, making it very versatile.

Unfortunately you need to use a valid email address to register with the magnet store required to use this application.  I can confirm however, your email address will be safe from spam, so don’t worry!

PROS: Clean interface, easy installation, one-click cleaning (automatic with PRO version), tons of modules to help you optimize your PC.CONS: The PRO version is a little pricey for me. Some modules are not well explained and could leave users a little unsure of what is going on with their PC. VERDICT: The free version is free for personal use and I highly recommend it. The PRO version is $28 at time of writing, but I’d still like to see it for $20. Definitely try the free version and explore the PRO features to see what you think. PRICE: Free (Pro $39.95.) Jailbreaking your iPhone or iPod touch couldn’t be easier thanks to geohot.  This jailbreak will work for iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPod Touch 1st 2nd & 3rd Gen.  If your SIM Card is not legit, (ie. unlocked) do not attempt this.

I’m using an iPhone 3G for this guide so the steps depicted herein will be iPhone 3G.

Why Jailbreak?

“Jailbreaking is a process that allows iPhone and iPod Touch users to run unofficial code on their devices bypassing Apple‘s official distribution mechanism, the App Store. Once jailbroken, iPhone users are able to download many applications previously unavailable through the App Store via unofficial installers such as Cydia, Rock App, Icy, and Installer. Cydia is popular with users whilst Rock App has a small catalog of mainly paid apps. Icy and Installer are officially unsupported by their developers and rarely used. Cydia founder Jay Freeman estimates that 8.5% of all iPods and iPhones are jailbroken.^[1] A jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch is still able touse and update apps downloaded and purchased from Apple’s official App Store.”

PROS: This program works well and I didn’t find any bugs at all. My screenshots below show what kind of a difference can be made by using this software. CONS: Untested on 64-bit (I didn’t try it as my only 64-bit machine is not for testing–it needs to be up 24/7.) Price is a little high, but still great value if you have a need to organize your context menu. VERDICT: This program does what it says on the box: it organizes your right-click menu and helps you access what you need with ease. The Pro version is reasonably priced, although $20 is always a sweet spot for me with tools like this. I recommend the pro version in support of the developers who’ve worked hard to make this great tool. PRICE: Free (Pro $26.) VERSION REVIEWED: 1.37 DOWNLOAD: Moo0 Right Clicker
