snag it01 [Expired] Competition: Two Copies of SnagIt 9 Up for Grabs

I have two copies of SnagIt to share with readers! SnagIt, in my opinion, is the best screen capture tool available for Windows. With SnagIt, you can take screenshots and organize them easily. SnagIt comes with many built in functions that make it so easy to capture your screen that I now use it as my primary screen capture tool for Windows Guides. More about the program after the competition details.

More about SnagIt

As mentioned above, SnagIt is a screen capture tool that will capture your screen and even capture screencasts. There are so many functions that you’ll keep finding new gems all the time!

In this review, I found the OneClick tool, pictured below, which sits at the side of your screen and gives you quick access to capture tools. I’ve been using SnagIt for over a year and I just came across this!

  • Manuel P.

If I had SnagIt, I would use it to capture images from a program I am currently creating (in VB.Net). For the past 6 months I have been working on a program — Desktop Application Programming (a 2008 -2009 FBLA – PBL competitive event). So far I have made my way to the National competition by being First place in state. But, in order for me to create the long process tutorials for the program, or the Help Content (chm), I must do screen capturing for the program. This is because the guidelines and rules for the Desktop Application Programming are very strict on program documentation. After all, I am just a high school student. If had a screen capturing utility (in which I currently don’t), I would use it for educational purposes (for the competition), in which I know I can be top 10 on Nationals for FBLA. I know that the trail version of SnagIt is for 30 days, but competition is late June. I need lots of time to work on the “Help Content.” I would totally appreciated if a receive license key for SnagIt. Thank You.

  • joncoleman

I would truly appreciate a copy of SnagIt 9 as I would be using it to build training documentation for trying to start my own training/consulting company. This would at least give me a small break in my company investments.

    Thanks,

  • Bobby Villela

Being deployed, I would use SNAGIT to capture screen shots of the grandkids when we chat online and save them as jpegs in my photo album!

  • http://nbpics.blogspot.com Dale Burke

  • Hermann

  • Umair

i would use it to help out my not so tech savvy friends who keep asking me for help.

i would use it for editing photos since it is also great for tagging / captioning etc

  • Raymond Lichtman

I would use it to make screen captures for use in my Windows, Word and Excel classes. I teach at a local computer store and the vast majority of the students are elderly and have been forced into buying a computer by their 6 year old grand kids. I have found the more visual information I can integrate into the class handouts, the more willing the students are to practice during the week.

  • gillis

    Cool, I’d love a copy!

  • Jack

    Hi,
I would love to have this program. I am always trying to capture something on the screen, but the regular click and drag just doesn’t get it. I would mostly use it for capturing the tv guide so I can print it out.

  • http://brandonfineart.com/index.html Gayle

After cataloguing over 700 photographs of original art for a friend I sure could have used Snag It to show her what I
needed her to do at home. Christine Brandon is an artist, NOT a computer person, but Screen Shots of the folders wouldl have
been wonderful to help her visualize the proceedure. Thankfully its mostly done, but I am still trying to get Christi to
understand how to organize. I have sent her this URL, and maybe you would like to see hers. http://brandonfineart.com/index.html
This is the old web site, her work this last year will be used to create a new one. Thanks for the consideration of my entry.

  • Mac

i would like to get a copy of SNAG IT. :)

  • karel

I have used “Solid Capture” (freeware) for a long time now.
Dont see any reason to change after reading.
So I’m not in to win this time but thanks a lot for the opportunity.

  • hasaan

It would be nice to get this
have heard of it but don’t have it
normally have used the standard way

  • Richard Silvernail

I would use Snagit to develop short tutorials for my teachers

  • http://lowcarbcanada.com Jude

I would use this for (boring, I know) snapshots of my banking/payment activities, EXCELLENT for problem follow-up, and for improving my website and technical skills, and mostly for (way fun for me) making my foodie support posts in a variety of forums much more usable and pictorial…I live in hope!

  • http://greatdocuments.net Keith Johnson

  • JPBrogan
