Because there are so many ways to render web pages and so many different ways people create them, there are often problems with displaying websites in different browsers. Internet Explorer 8 is no exception to this rule. In fact, Microsoft has built IE8 in a way that ensures websites display properly if they are compliant with W3C standards. For now, many websites may not display properly, because they were built around older, non-compliant code. In this guide, you will learn how to run IE 8 in compatibility mode, which overcomes this problem.
