  4. ricardo says:

  5. Rich says:

  8. RP says:

Hey I’m liking what I see. Is this safe to do as long as you follow all the instructions? And does it use a lot of RAM?

  9. RP says:

Sorry for double posting, but is it possible to take off/uninstall the pack if you feel like a change? Thanks.

  10. Rich says:

RP – The most important thing you can do before using these is to create a system restore point. You will likely not need it, but it’s good to have it.

A system restore point “takes a photo of your system” as it is. If you make a mistake, you can roll back to that photo and have everything the same. If you are unsure of how to create a restore point, search for ‘create restore point XP’ in Google. This process is really easy.

To answer your second question, these usually don’t use too much RAM; however, I would suggest you need 256mb+

  11. Rich says:

RP – Yes, these program install just like Photoshop or Firefox would. You can uninstall the program through Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel. Contact me if you ever need any help – I am happy to be of assistance.

    Rich

  15. Adam says:

    Stumbled?

So that’s why I landed on this crap.

This is retarded. If you want OS X, buy a Mac. If you want Ubuntu/Fedora…download it and install it. These never look/work properly, and in the end, all you are is a poseur.

Do it properly, or don’t bother…

  16. Hyperkill says:

Great tips! Now if I want the Ubuntu look, with NO security features, I can get it. /sarcasm

  17. Antiques says:

I love the backgrounds. Really cool.

  18. Ubuntu-user says:

    SAD…

Just switch os.. It’s so much easier!

  19. Michelle Kwan says:

Hello webmaster…Thanks for the nice read, keep up the interesting posts […] ..what a nice Friday .

  20. Rimma says:

I love these sets, why do so many people complain??

  21. Gr0v3r says:

how about installing fedora or ubuntu on your computer (they’re free!) why waste time with windows.

  22. Rich says:

Thanks for your input — positive and not so positive ;) — everyone!

  23. FF says:

Niiiiice collection! These are great, I don’t care what people think

  25. Leonny says:

Gracias super este pack de transformation

  26. Jason Ubuntu User says:

Hmmmm… Why not just actually switch to one of these OS’s? Linux and Mac are always a better choice than WinDoze any day! Not to mention Linux is FREE, more stable, and more secure!

  27. anfeir says:

Just like it very much !

  28. anfeir says:

    very good ,

  29. qzjseh says:

    Cool packs!

  30. felicia says:

    Coooooooooool

  31. WinDoze says:

In reosponse to all the ppl who said “just get Mac or Linux” Linux has got no drivers and is only good if you want to create a server. on the other hand ppl clearly like their theme. Mac is expensive and can not be installed on any system, BUT the have a great interface…

  32. Windows Vista says:

Vista works better and with more stuff… and Mac looks better. Why do you think people buy alloy wheels for their car? Same study car and slick looks. Your logic makes no sense, just because I like the look of Mac, doesn’t mean I think it’s a good OS

  33. Searce says:

    These packs are POINTLESS

  34. Toinia says:

THese are fantastic… i have no idea how to do this myself so i am v. happy now thanks mintywhite
