Microsoft have finally announced the dates Windows 7 SP1 will be available.

Windows 7 SP1

MSDN and Technet subscribers will be able to pick up Service Pack 1 for the software giants best ever selling OS on 16th February 2011.  Respectively, the web release will be live 22nd February 2011.

As ever, expect a delay before actually getting your hands on the SP as Microsoft notoriously “underestimate sever loads”.

Final build number, for those interested: 7601.17514.101119-1850

    Hi Gurus
I’ve got a question with regards to Windows Explorer (FileManager). I like to open folders on the left panel and display the content in the right panel by just clicking the small arrow, however I find it extremely annoying that the whole list of folders jumps down to the bottom of the panel most times instead of remaining at the position it has been ie. about half way.
Does anyone have a fix for this?
Your response is very appreciated and thanks for your excellent tips & tricks to make life easier.
