Install New Fonts in Windows Vista and XP [How To]

On www.Mintywhite.com, you can download hundreds of fonts. This guide will show you how to install a font in Windows XP, Vista etc.

Installing a New Font

1. Download one of many fonts here

2. Extract the zip file

3. Navigate to C:\Windows\Fonts

install new font 01 Install New Fonts in Windows Vista and XP [How To]

4. Drag and drop the font into the fonts folder

install new font 02 Install New Fonts in Windows Vista and XP [How To]

Now you may use your font in most applications including the following: Microsoft Office, Paint, Photoshop etc.

      @Hms Are you using Windows XP/Vista? If so, just double click on the zip file you download. Windows XP and Vista support zip files natively.

    It didn't work. I already put the fonts into the folder but when I opened Word the new font wasn't there?

    With the font file in a folder other than the fonts folder, right click it, and click Install. That should work for you.

    I’m using windows 7, and each font pack only has one font, any reason why?
