Change Mouse Scroll Wheel Settings in Windows Vista and Seven

Like in Windows Vista, you can configure the behavior of the mouse wheel in Windows 7. I use a mouse with a wheel most of the time and I frequently utilize the mouse wheel. If you too use the wheel, you may find benefit in configuring the behavior of it.

Configuring Mouse Wheel Settings

To configure mouse wheel settings, do the following:

  1. Click the Start button, type mouse, and click on Mouse
  2. Under the Wheel tab, you may configure the vertical and horizontal scrolling settings

Through trial and error, you will find the most useful setting for you. (Now if you could only program your mouse to keep the settings–even in other computers…)
