The default backgrounds in Windows 7 are very pleasing to look at. However, many of you like to change the login screen. There are plenty of programs out there that do the job well. This one is in a league of it’s own. Logon Screen Rotator (2.1.0.2) is a tiny freeware program that can not only change your login screen, it can use multliple images or folders of images to do it and rotate them. An innovative touch to this program is it’s ability to change at a user specified time.
No installation is required for this to work. Just extract the application and run it.
Logon Screen Rotator is a Windows 7 only program and requires at least the Release Candidate copy.
When you run it, you’ll be presented with this screen where you can add single images. Use the context menu to configure.
The Folders tab is where you can add folders of images to the mix. Use the context menu to configure.
The ButtonSet tab is where you can adjust the shadows of the button set at the login screen.
The Settings tab is where this program comes into it’s own.
Be sure to click on Change Now when your done!
When you exit the program you’ll receive this prompt. Be sure to click Yes!
If anyone has any good suggestions of other freeware to do the job, please tell us about it in the comments :)
