Disable Balloon Tips in Windows

To disable balloon tips, do the following:

Download DisableBalloonTips.zip (< 1 KB)
Extract the zip file
Double click on DisableBalloonTips.reg
When prompted, click Yes

To enable balloon tips again, just follow the steps above and replace step 4 by double clicking on ReEnableBalloonTips.reg

After installing disable ballontips.zip and after completely disabling ballons I can still see a warning of uac. Is there any chance not to see this warning again?
I’m using windows vista ultimate, 64bit

The registry entry you provided doesn’t prevent the “Safe to remove hardware” bubble notification from appearing in Windows 7 x86. :(

Nevermind. It works after restart. Unfortunately the taskbar is still activated even though balloon notifications are off.
