I was playing with task manager, when I came across this simple trick, which lets you display any item from task manager as a ‘desktop widget’; learn how to make your task manager into a widget in this guide.
Running Task Manager as a Widget
To run task manager as a widget, do the following:
- Start task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC)
- Double click anywhere (apart from menus)
- Resize the box to your needs
You can do this for any panel of the start menu:
