Changes to mintywhite.com (and my other sites)

Readers, I believe a brief update is on the cards; a  few things have changed lately. I’ll attempt to keep you updated with the major changes:

MyWindowsPC

  • ReCaptcha is being used on members’ blogs to cut spam comments for them (thanks for the suggestion Christopher.)
  • MyWindowsPC Help, the official MyWindowsPC help blog has been updated and given a new name.
  • Members’ posts are now being featured on the front page.
  • The site activity feed is now being parsed to the sidebar of Windows Guides.

Social Bookmarking

When you post a comment, login with one, or many, social networking accounts (in the FROM field) and ensure the message is sent to your social accounts (in the TO field):

Every now and then, I take a look at my Google Analytics page to see where visitors to this website come from. I am pleased to see a high diversity of visitors–with visits from 186 195 countries and territories.

Which of the 186 195 countries and territories are you from? Are you from the US/UK? If so, which state/county/city are you from? Let us know in the comments and represent your part of the world.

Please see Figure A below for all the countries the site’s visitors come from. Mintywhite.com has been around for just over three months and I thought I would share how many unique visitors have come to the site: at time of publishing, the number stands at 1,215,033 visitors. StumbleUpon Trick to Get More of What You Want

Every time you click the Stumble! button, you are presented with a web page on one of the topics you specified earlier. Sometimes you want more control over what kind of pages you’d like to browse through.
To do this, you will need to enable the SumbleUpon search feature, which allows you to surf through web pages on a single topic of your liking until you specify otherwise.
