I recently misplaced my Microsoft Office product key and I needed to move it from one system to another. I couldn’t remember how to find the product key (I know they changed where they put it these days), so I did a Google search. In the process of looking, I found this very useful tool, which crawls your system for product keys. It works and I want to share it with you.
Personally, I love the new Ribbon toolbar system for Office 2007; however, I know many people do don’t like it and find it confusing.

After a few hours exploring Windows 7, here is what I’ve found so far. Following are my likes and dislikes of the “standard” interface.
As you probably already know: if you don’t like something in Windows, you can usually change it to make it work the way you like. My thoughts focus on the default set up of Windows 7 M3.
You may want to restrict access to the control panel and only allow administrative access. This is a very good idea if your children use an account or if you set up a computer in an office for an employee. Learn how to disable the control panel in this guide.
When I use Firefox, I frequently reopen a tab I just closed by accident or click on my favorite page links that I use every day. Wouldn’t it be nice to do both of these things and more in Windows? With FolderView you can.
