usblafss1 300x111 USB Lost and Found Helps You Get Your Thumb Drive Back

If you’ve ever lost a USB drive before, this will be something you wish you had. If you haven’t lost one yet, then you should install this on your USB drive as soon as possible. I’ve lost two drives in the past; luckily both drives didn’t have any sensitive information on them, but I wonder if I would have got either back if I’d had this program.

USB Lost and Found simply puts a message up each time you put your drive in, which contains your contact information. The person who finds your drive can then get in contact and return your drive to you. If you are willing to pay $3.49 $8.99 for the Pro version, you get lockdown mode, which password protects your data too.

Just tried it on XP and it seems to work .... But when the thumb drive open in Windows 7, nothing comes up, it can be accessed directly, so not much use for me in this case.

I purchased the USBLAF Pro last Saturday. Sent this to them on Sunday with no response todate. Anybody else having this problem? Any ideas .. anyone?

I purchased the Pro version yesterday and installed it without errors. I have tried using it on 3 different flavors of USB drives using XP Pro 32 & 64-bit and Vista Ultimate 32 & 64-bit systems without success. All the systems have autoplay/autorun enabled. I insert the 'USB Lost and Found' protected drive and explorer recognizes it and allow me to access it's files, but NO message or lockout? Registry entries are correct according to what I've found on the Web but did notice a few entries that state (from MS) that a USB autorun.inf is NOT supported?

I really like the concept and would like to get it working properly. Please advise. Thank you in advance for your help.

I got brave and tried it with U3. I don't think I'd recommend it as it made kind of a mess.

U3 is a program that comes on some flashdrives. It allows you to download lots of small versions of lots of different software. I think that Lexar Ceedo is better, though.

Last time I checked it was $3.49. I've updated the post -- thank you.

I decided to go Pro and pushed the link. The proce was $8.99 and not #3.49 as you state. WHy is that?
