MailBigFile offers both a free solution with a 200MB file limit and a professional one, with a 2GB file limit.
How it works
It is almost as easy as sending an email from your own email program. Go to the website, type in the recipient email, your message (optional), choose your file, and press Send.
Once your file has been uploaded to their server, mailbigfile.com will send an email to your recipient with a download link, explaining what to do.
The file will be available for download for 5 days.
Inform the recipient in advance
The email sent may be perceived as Spam by some email programs or anti-spam filters, so, I would suggest you inform the recipient to add “firstname.lastname@example.org” to their white list. Then you know they will get it.
Free and Pro
If you don’t need to send files larger than 200MB then there’s no sign-up, no login, no anything. If you are in need of sending larger files, you have to sign up, and of course pay their fee.
