SmushIt Reduces Digital Picture File Sizes

SmushIt is an online tool that helps you reduce the size of your pictures without making them smaller or losing quality. I previously showed you how to use PNGCrush, which is limited to PNG files. SmuthIt works with all popular image types.

SmushIt even comes with a Firefox extension, which will let you compress pictures when you are using Firefox. SmuthIt will also let you batch process images so you can compress more than one at a time.

    Hey,

This is great tool. I just came to this post through RSS Feed. I wanted to share a experience. I was working on Google Adwords yesterday and required a tool to decrease size of my gif image as the standard size allowed by Adwords is 50k. My gifs were more than 150k. I used photoshop to decrease in which, i need to suffer quality.

but, your recommendation is great. Thanks for the link and hurray.
