Microsoft Paint isn’t the best program in the world, but it’s so simple and it’s free. I am a big fan of paint and used it in the creation of many of the images used on www.mintywhite.com. In this guide I will introduce Paint.Net and explain why you should be using this program right now!
Introducing Paint.net
The one great things that stands out about Paint.net is that you can work with layers (just like you would in Photoshop.) Resizing is a lot easier – I find myself using a calculator to work out aspect ratio with MS Paint – this is no longer necessary in Paint.net.

Paint.NET is really cool, I create very professional graphics in it in a very short period of time. Anyway, I’d change the title, I was a bit hesitant when I say “Paint” alone, why not say replace Paint or something like that? Rick Brewster is fussy and might like for you to type Paint.NET also. But anyways, good article.

Zach, thanks for the suggestion. What do you think of the title?

Nice, although I just realised I liked the old one too! Lol, silly me. “Paint.NET makes MS Paint 100x better.” :D
