If you want to surf the web without leaving a trace on your system you can use the Firefox add-on: Stealther.

Stealther – Surf Anonymously

Download Stealther

To enable Stealther, click on the menu Tools and check Stealther or via the shortcut key CTRL+Shift+S.

To enable anonymous browsing, Stealther temporarily disables the following things:

  • Browsing History
  • Cookies
  • Downloaded Files History
  • Disk Cache
  • Saved Form Information
  • Sending of ReferrerHeader
  • Recently Closed Tabs list

You can easily set the things you do not want to store on your PC, most commonly these are Browsing History and Cookies.

If you want to hide the websites you go to, this is a tool for you.
