Windows Guides has a new comment system and, to introduce you all to it, I’ve decided to run a competition. We’re giving away a fully licensed copy of Windows 7 Home Premium to a random visitor who comments on this site between now (right now) and Sunday, September 13, 2009 @ 11 P.M. EST (GMT-5.)

What Do I Win?

Windows 7 Home Premium (Retail: $199.99)

The competition ends on Sunday, September 13, 2009 @ 11 P.M. EST (GMT-5.) The winner will receive their copy of Windows 7 on or around October 22, 2009. There are no geographical restrictions in this competition; all entrants are welcome. I will contact the winner, by private message, through the comment system’s private message feature. The winner will also be announced on this site too.

How Do I Win?

Just comment on any post on this site (including this one.) Multiple entries are okay and will increase your chances of winning. I will not consider spammy comments for entry; however, feedback, questions, answers, thoughts, and anything else that adds to the discussion is welcome. Good examples of comments:

Sera necessario apenas corrigir o Media Player, pois muitas musicas mp3 e outras tocam muito aceleradas e tive que passar a usar o VLC Media Player (gratuito e 5*).
Quanto a este blog espero que esteja activo por muitos anos.

Is necessary just fix the player (wmp+wmc) because many mp3 tracks and other types, play accelerated and had to go to use VLC media player (free and 5 *).

Hey… Been using Windows 7 for about a month now, as well as I tried it back in early beta. Even when half my system wasn’t working correctly with it it STILL beat vista, now it’s amazing. FINALLY, a WIN for Windows. Can’t wait for the final version!

Cool, the chance of wining freebies it’s always a good incentive =P , plus i like the redesign. Just a question Rich, I’m a having a bit of trouble displaying the site correctly on Firefox (i use NoScript+Adblock plus) could you please say which scripts are essential for showing the site correctly?
