Since yesterday, I’ve heard from 20+ subscribers who have problems seeing images in their newsletters from Windows Guides. Usually, people email me and I explain one on one how to display the images; however, with the survey I ran yesterday, many people let me know that the form isn’t showing (see important note below) and neither are images.
This guide explains how to see images without coming over to the site.
Important Note:
If you saw the word “Loading…” in the newsletter yesterday where I had the two-question survey, you’ll need to go to the survey page: How Fast Does mintywhite.com Load on Your Connection? These types of forms often wont display in emails.
How to Display Images in Your Email
In this guide, I’ll show you how to display images, in emails, using the most popular clients. If you can’t see images in the newsletter and are not using one of these services/clients, please ask in the forums.

Gmail
To display images, from an email, in Gmail:
- Open the email.
- Click Display images below.

Hotmail
To display images, from an email, in Hotmail:
- Open the email.
- Click Mark as safe.

Yahoo Mail
To display images, from an email, in Yahoo Mail:
- Open the email.
- Click Show Images.

Outlook 2007
To display images, from an email, in Outlook 2007:
- Open the email.
- Click the bar that says “Click here to download pictures…” and click Add Sender to Safe Senders List.

Outlook 2003
To display images, from an email, in Outlook 2003:
- Right click the email.
- Click Junk Email > Add Sender to Safe Senders List (or Add Sender’s Domain (@mintywhite.com) to Safe Senders List if you trust the site.)

- Right click the email.
- Click Junk Email > Add Sender to Safe Senders List (or Add Sender’s Domain (@mintywhite.com) to Safe Senders List if you trust the site.)
