On my PC there are xp,vista and w7 installed whith a Creative live! wdm card, that works fine on xp and vista
WhenI install it on the W7, it installed but after a time it disappears from device manager and says that there is audio device installed

Use a driver scanner and let it to detect the missing drivers and to download for instal.
