my internet shut down without warning

I have an hp desktop with 4 quad and it runs great but without warning my internet will shut down. Then I will have to shut down my computer to reestablish my internet connection. :evil:

What do you mean by "my internet will shut down"?
Is your web browser shutting down or are you getting disconnected from the Internet?

if you disconnect from the internet, there's something wrong with the hardware i guess. because if it was a service problem or software problem, you wouldn't even be connected to the internet. Try this: reset your modem and router. than see if that works.
