My windows update page has failed to load...tried updating my windows update and it keeps saying ''The page failed to load''..What can i do to resolve this..

It doesnt seem to work..could it be a virus..and i have Kaspersky 2009 update...Anyway, is there a way i can restore it or get the updates again?..thanks in advance.

This happened to me too about 3 months ago and my solution to the problem won't help you very much but this is what I did ....... it was the "FINAL straw" with Vista [I presume you are talking about Vista here!?!] ........ I simply wiped over Vista HP with W7 Ultimate [clean install] and have "never looked back" since!! Vista has "gone forever" out of life!!
AND furthermore ....... when the W7 install was complete and working "ok", I took great delight in deleting ["nuking"!!] the Windows.old folder which contained 7 GB of the remnants of the Vista OS!!
P.S. ....... I would say no, I do not think you have a virus! Vista is the problem!! You could try a system restore to when you know for sure it was last functioning ok .......??

Can you please provide a screenshot of your problem and elaborate a little on your systems specifications. If you use W7, use PSR to record the issue.
