“It actually looks more like the brand of hair products, conair, than the movie font to me…” -Ange
Yep — you’re very right Ange — I’ll leave it there anyway because it’s a good font :)

    Extract the zip file
    Navigate to C:WindowsFonts
Drag and drop the font into the fonts folder

Most of these fonts should work with OS X; however, you may need to convert them — so use FontForge if they don’t work (open type fonts may give you problems) http://fontforge.sourceforge.net/

Quick question. Is the copy right yours? If so, are there any restrictions to usage? I won’t sell he fonts, but am I allowed to use them in say (commercial) web designs?

@chielt – Each zip file comes with a copyright, if it has one. These fonts are all GPL, which means they can be distributed, but you’d have to check the individual copyright file in each zip to ensure you can use them commercially.

If you are in doubt, please let me know the specific font name and I will see if I can get you an answer :)

    Dominic, try this alternate approach:

    1. From the ‘Start’ menu select ‘Control Panel’, then select the ‘Appearance and Themes’ category.

    2. Select ‘Fonts’ from the ‘See Also’ panel at the left of this screen.

    3. On the ‘File’ menu, select ‘Install New Font…’

    4. Click the drive and folder that contain the fonts you want to add.

    5. To select more than one font to add, press and hold down the CTRL key, click the fonts you want, then click on ‘OK’.

Hey Rich thank you, that process didn’t work and then I figured it out, I didn’t extract the files from the zip folder, I would open the zip folder and try and move the files that way and then I just right clicked and extracted it and it worked so mmm I forgot the easiest step. Thanks though that is a lot easier to do then drag and drop though thank you have a good night.
