Free Matrix Desktop Screensaver

There are hundreds of Matrix-style screensavers available online. However, many are not free and many come packed with a virus to keep you busy, repairing your computer, on the weekend! Here is a free screensaver that comes with some nice extra features.

The screensaver takes your username and, in true Matrix style, delivers you a message:

Then it takes the name of the PC you are using… how smart.

    I’ve used matrix screensaver before, but it was a bit different. I do remember it’d make any pc I tried it on sound like a plane taking off :p It freaked out my classmates when I used it in the tech lab, because that one said the account and computer name as well :/

    I never used lot of animated screensaver they can eat system resources , having said that very useful for guys who love to have colorful wallpapers ,themes and screen savers on their desktop.

    Frankly, I find it hilarious that screen savers still exist, since most monitors anymore don’t benefit from them. Maybe they should be called “kill time apps”.
