The result is a collective “android dream”, an homage to Philip K. Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

These are kinda fun! Though I do still wonder why screensavers exist – maybe it just bugs me that they retain the name “screensaver”.

Because they keep your screen from having the image “burned” in. They actually do save your screen. That’s why.
