ESET Smart Security 4 Review

ESET Smart Security is, arguably, the best virus detection Software available for PCs. I don’t like to review paid software on Windows guides because this site is all about free stuff; I save the paid software for Windows Forums. However, the reason I am reviewing ESET Smart Security 4.0 is twofold: this program is simply excellent and worth every penny and because I’m giving away six fully licensed copies, in conjunction with ESET, in a competition that starts on Sunday, April 26, 2009.

In this review, I will explain the basic functionality of the software and show why I think it is such an excellent antivirus solution.

Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta Available for Download

windows-server-r2Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 will be the next version of the Windows Server operating system from Microsoft. Building on the features and capabilities of the current Windows Server 2008 release version, Windows Server 2008 R2 allows you to create solutions that are easier to plan, deploy, and manage than previous versions of Windows Server.

This software is for evaluation and testing purposes. Evaluating any version of Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta software does not require product activation or entering a product key. Any edition of Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta may be installed without activation and evaluated for an initial 30 days. If you need more time to evaluate Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta, the initial 30 day evaluation can be extended to August 1st (at which time the OS will become inoperable) by entering the product key below for your selected edition.

Vista SP1 is now officially available. The update can be obtained from the Microsoft’s site; however, Microsoft strongly recommends using Windows Update to download and install Windows Vista SP1 on single PCs
