ie9 Start IE9 with InPrivate Filtering Enabled [Quick Tip]We’ve had a look at IE8 and its ability to block ads without add-ons using InPrivate Filtering before.  What’s new i hear you cry.  Well, I’ll let you see for yourself.

Todays Quick Tip shows how to start IE9 in InPrivate Filtering mode every time you start the browser, as opposed to turning it on manually.  Something I think Microsoft should definitely implement.  (Alt+X > K)?

In this How To guide I will be showing you how to create your own Start Orb for Windows 7.  I’ll be using Photoshop CS5.  Sorry to those who use alterative software.  I’m sure you’ll be able to follow using your preferred software however.

system32101 Take Ownership of Files by Drag and Drop If you’re into customising your system, you would have inevitably, at some point, been denied access to some files.  There are ways around this, as we have covered in the past.  None however are as slick looking and handy as GlassOwnership.

GlassOwnership is an installer and has several options that will allow you to customise your setup.

You can choose to add GlassOwnership to the Windows context menu (with an additional shift option key), and for those who wish to keep an uncluttered context menu, a considerate ‘Send To’ option.
