Even though I wouldn’t call “K” for kilobyte an official nickname, we, in common conversation, use it. i.e. we call something that’s 400 kilobytes “400 k” (Pronounced “400 kay”.)

…400 gigabytes “400 gig”…

  • 400 TB? (“Tee Bee”)
  • 400 Teras? (“Tare ah”)
  • 400 Tears? (“Tare”)
  • 400 Ters?
  • 400 Terabs?
  • 400 T-bytes?
  • 400 T-bones?
  • 400 Big ones?
