Even though I wouldn’t call “K” for kilobyte an official nickname, we, in common conversation, use it. i.e. we call something that’s 400 kilobytes “400 k” (Pronounced “400 kay”.)
…something that’s 400 megabytes “400 meg”
…400 gigabytes “400 gig”…
What do you call something that’s 400 terabytes? What will be the trend as this kind of space becomes standard?
- 400 T?
- 400 TB? (“Tee Bee”)
- 400 Teras? (“Tare ah”)
- 400 Tears? (“Tare”)
- 400 Ters?
- 400 Terabs?
- 400 T-bytes?
- 400 T-bones?
- 400 Big ones?
What do you think?
