FotoSketcher Makes Your Photos Look Like Sketches

Posted by Rich On July - 31 - 2009

FotoSketcher is a free program which takes your digital photos and turns them into works of art. This program is really easy to use and can produce some really good-looking results. There are different styles available including the following: pencil sketch, pen and ink drawing, and various painting renderings. The program also comes with built-in tools to help you manipulate your photos.

One of the only issues I have with this program is the fact that you cannot open PNG graphics to manipulate them. This is not a major problem, but I’ve come to expect most programs supporting this format.

FotoSketcher works on all versions of Windows and can be downloaded below. See some examples of the effects, FotoSketcher can produce, below.

See an Infinite View with LogMeIn

Posted by Rich On July - 27 - 2009

Have you ever been in a room that has ever on opposite walls? If you look into one of the mirrors you see an infinite view as the image is reflected back and forth between the two. The other day, when I was quite tired, I wanted to control one of my computers and ended up logging in to the computer I was currently using. I was faced with an infinite view of my computer as it attempted to show my screen within my screen which had my screen within this one and so on. I am surprised this didn’t crash my computer because anyone who programs knows an infinite loop will use all the resources possible until your computer crashes. This really isn’t a guide and it really isn’t helpful but if you are using LogMeIn, you may want to give this one try.

EASEUS Partition Master Home Edition

Posted by Rich On July - 24 - 2009

In the past, I’ve recommended splitting your drive into partitions so the if you need to reinstall your operating system, you will not lose personal data. Other reasons to create partitions include the following: ensuring minimal fragmentation on your system drive and not filling your system partition up to the point where your operating system cannot function properly anymore. There are many disk management solutions out there and Windows even comes with one built in. If you are looking for a good, free program to manage your hard disk drives, EASEUS Partition Master Home Edition is a great option.
